My Big Debut

Coconut and House Hippo took hold of our tickets, but we couldn't bring them along.

Preparing at Paul's included some nice British-style bacon.
At Chateau Lacombe, the "Ballers" from Calgary rehearsed their dance.

At dinner, my wrap helped to keep me warm and stop any spills from getting on the dress.
A palate cleanser... which I disappointingly thought was dessert (because that meant our the salad preceding would have been the main meal.)

Yay!  The real main course!  Delicious!
This year's debutantes and cavaliers, unfortunately missing Helen and Dan.

In previous years, the debutante wore crowns.  Tyler wanted a crown.

Jane (right) wore her butt bow proudly.
And then directed us through various motivations.
"I'll be the mushroom and you be the frog..."

Andrea and Anton.  Her incredibly lovely beaded dress was her mother's wedding gown (sans high collar, long sleeves, and a train).

Me and Paul finally relaxing at the end of the night.
