After the evening Challenger races the night before, the team is back on site early for the races of the day.
Toasters stretch after breakfast in our team tent.
More stretching near the docks.
Monica does some final stretching (and evaluating the special paddles on loan).
And we take a team photo (with newly adopted member: Big Boss Lorraine)
Second race: More focused and in a complete boat (with a head!)
Waiting for the next race. We watch other teams from the sidelines... and see others in the water...

Thankfully there were no crashes here. But the "cursed" boat (missing the head) did end up dumping some people into the water.

Captain Will is still on duty, calling to make sure people are back in time for the next race (um... but they're there right behind him.)Then after our final races, killing some time while waiting for the awards ceremony: Wayne is officially christened "Scoop" (in honour of his paddling technique) and Julie finds out what her blood type is from the Canadian Blood Services tent.
Paul returns from his Ulitmate finals to catch us practicing (stomping and clapping) for the awards ceremony.
Finally, our co-captains were called to stage to accept our awards.
