Ogden Nash

A Word to Husbands
To keep your marriage brimming,
With love in the loving cup,
Whenever you're wrong, admit it;
Whenever you're right, shut up.

Political Reflection
Discretion is the better part of virtue;
Commitments the voters don't know about can't hurt you.

Reflection on a Wicked World
Purity
Is obscurity.

The Duck
Behold the duck.
It does not cluck.
A cluck it lacks.
It quacks.
It is specially fond
Of a puddle or pond.
When it dines or sups,
It bottoms ups

I love Ogden Nash! He is quite possibly my all-time favourite poet.
